A Kinetrol USA Mid-Atlantic Distributor worked with a testing company that provides ballistic experimentation and non-destructive testing services to design an air cannon that fires a penetrating missile into drywall. The customer chose a Kinetrol actuator with a high performance butterfly valve. The air cannon fired a 22.5 lb projectile at a velocity of about 211 mph. Download PDF
